All meters installed are electronic and collect data of each home's usage continually. Meter readings are pinged using bluetooth technology to an electronic reader. This investment by Provident Utilities eliminates room for human error ensuring you receive an accurate water bill each month.
A $50 application fee will be required for all new accounts. The charges will be due in full at the time of application.
The base rate for water service is $46/month. This rate is for the usage of 10,500 gallons per month. In the event your usage exceeds 10,500 gallons, you will be billed at a rate of $2/1,000 gallons.
Pays to establish a new account.
A suspension fee is assessed if a bill is not paid by the suspension date, approximately 30 days after bill due date. Fee is charged prior to dispatching a technician to cut off service.
Assessed if the bank returns a payment for any reason, to include insufficient funds.
Charged to customer's who wish to have their meter/bill reverified. If no error is found, the fee is assessed.
Assessed to reestablish a customer's water service after suspension. The delinquent account must be paid in full to include this fee before the technician will be dispatched to the customer.
Late fee is assessed if bill is not paid by the due date printed on the invoice. All invoices are due on the 1st of each month.
Pays for the repair to meter, meter box, or service damage caused by customer ( to include intentional damage arising from an effort to defeat any device installed to enforce collections).
